With a graduate degree in Food Science and a background in winemaking, I moved to Vermont to make hard cider. My love for all things fermented and my desire to run my own business brought me to the world of cheese. Small scale cheesemaking, with it’s connection to farming traditions, was a natural progression for me particularly in a dairy state like Vermont. After a year of making farmstead Vermont cheddar at Shelburne Farms, I decided it was time to venture out on my own. I hope you enjoy our offerings.
